June Appeal - Small Flocks, Big Impact!
As the end of the financial year approaches - and tax time for many - I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. With the help of our generous supporters, many thousands of chickens in rural Malawi are healthier, families are more resilient, and communities are just that bit more focused.
Here’s what your generosity is making possible:
- Our poultry vaccination programs are running strong in 4 project areas, saving chickens from Newcastle disease - and protecting a critical source of income and nutrition for families.

Our Farmer Field School at Chadza is taking shape! This facility aspires to be Malawi's foremost village-poultry-focused training hub!
Next steps? A chick incubation and rearing facility to demonstrate best practices. - We receive strong support from the Australian Government (through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program) ensuring your donations go even further. We also receive strong support from Malawi's Department of Animal Health and Livestock Development.
Our work is not the stuff of headlines, but it's transformative. In the final analysis, every chicken vaccinated means a child gets more protein, a mother earns extra income, and a farmer gains confidence. I'll write again soon, showing you just how, using results from our work in Mchinji and Dowa. You'll be impressed.
Progress on Farmer Field School at Chadza
