Chickens-4-Africa - There's more!

Chickens for Africa
Fundraising photography competition 2019

The first photos in our Chickens-for-Africa competition are coming in. This is our third such event and we are looking forward to some great entries. You don't have to be a great photographer to enter - we've seen some great shots from amateurs. Give it a go!

This competition is the focus for our key fund-raising activity for the year. But there's another important bit of news about that...

"Every donation we receive will be combined with funding from the Australian Government to reach more people. We have committed to contribute $1 for every $5 we receive from the Australian government. Your donation will thus allow us to extend our reach."

This is so because our supporters, the Kyeema Foundation, are accredited under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program. In practice, this means that contributions to our planned RPC field work program will be very close to one dollar from donations and five dollars from the Australian government. Quite an investment!

Please consider us. We are ready to meet the challenges ahead. High on our wish list is a program with the Dzithandizeni Women's Group and others in Mchinji, close to the border with Zambia. It's looking good - more on that soon.

Best wishes for now.
