MVA wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Commonwealth Veterinary Association for its part in supplying over 20 academic text books to the Faculty of Veterinary Science at LUANAR (Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources).

The newly established faculty is undoubtedly one of the most significant developments for the veterinary profession in Malawi in a generation. Shown here is the first crop of prospective graduates, now just starting their 4th year of study. Their imminent entry to the profession in a few years time will signal a new dawn for the profession in Malawi which has lacked a veterinary faculty for far too long.
